ScarletWorkshops Monthly Newsletter - Issue 1

Posted on September 1, 2016 at 12:50 PM

Hi everyone,

Welcome to September and our brand spanking new newsletter! It's been a while since I've spoken to some of you so let me remind you what we do:

ScarletWorkshops is a social enterprise that raises the standards and aspirations of young people through professional performing arts training and our transformational life-skills workshops.

Snapshot update:

  • Real Drama is closing down after 9 successful years and alumni boasting John Boyega (Star Wars). I've had a great 2 years as Project Manager
  • SW has taken over the Real Drama sessions at 2InSpire, and continue with our resident singing workshops. Every Monday, free for young people
  • Our website is looking great and filled with lots of videos telling you more about us...The latest explains how our students feel about our https://youtu.be/oiGAz5u_Ns4" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">singing workshops
  • I will be out of office from October 3rd - 1st Feb 2017 as I will be performing in my 2nd West End Tour: GHOST the musical (China Tour)... Hi-five to me :P
  • SW will be running as usual and I will be on email as always
  • We had a really inspiring time running a bespoke workshop for CoolTan Arts Self Advocacy Programme
  • We had an amazing time training and songwriting with the film and music Academy at Draper Estate , please check the link for the final music video
  • We had an amazing time running singing workshops for the Girls club at Coin Street
  • We have been asked back to devise and deliver workshops for Inspired to Work at Inspire
  • To see our events calendar : scarletworkshops.org/events

Right, well I think that's it for now, all our amazing achievements will be added to our blog in the near future, so if I can't fit it all in the newsletter you'll know where to go. See you in October :)

Many thanks, positivity and love always. Scarlet xx
